LDC Hotels & Resorts actively responds to the promotion of diversified rural development and ecological agriculture by the Council of Agriculture's Soil and Water Conservation Bureau. The initiative encourages chefs to venture into rural areas to showcase their culinary expertise and highlight the unique flavors of locally-sourced, environmentally friendly ingredients. This approach aims to create innovative and distinctive dishes that contribute to the promotion of sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices.
In addition, each restaurant under LDC does not provide one-time disposable plastic utensils and napkins, and encourages guests to use the lunch box rental service when venturing out to night markets to reduce single-use packaging. Tablecloths that are no longer usable are transformed into beverage-carrying bags through handicraft workshops, giving discarded tablecloths a new life through the practice of upcycling.
