LDC has been implementing Go Green waste-reducing measures since 2019. Electronic display boards are used in LDC hotels to display welcome messages and energy-saving slogans. Disposable supplies are not provided in the rooms and instead made available upon request. Reusable slippers that can be recycled and cleaned are provided. A reminder placard on the bedside table encourages guests who stay for more than 2 nights to hang a card on the door to inform the housekeeping staff not to change sheets and towels.

Each branch also introduces Blupura sparkling water machines from Italy in the hotel’s public areas to supply guests with sparkling water, in place of mineral water in plastic bottles. In 2022, LDC Hotels & Resorts no longer purchased disposable plastic containers for liquid soaps, reducing the production of 315,000 container wastes per year. We will continue to do our best and work with our guests to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
